Digital Textile Micro Factory

The German Institute for Textile and Fibre Research (DITF) showcases an integrated clothing production chain all the way from design through to labeling. The Digital Textile Micro Factory has been created in collaboration with well-known companies in the textile and clothing industry.

The Digital Textile Micro Factory at Techtextil and Texprocess shows two integrated production chains in action – the Technical Line and Fashion Line. Explore innovation themes such as digitisation, individualisation and industry 4.0 at the various stations of the Digital Textile Micro Factory. At each station, experts provide information on the individual production steps.

Student Competition

Students and young professionals have come up with an array of creative and innovative approaches to building with textiles. All prototypes and models on display have the aim of optimising profitability and economic usability.
